DOVER STREET MARKET PARIS UNVEILS NEW COURTYARD INSTALLATION: GEORGIA O’KEEFFE BY COMME DES GARÇONS

Don’t despair! When the last show is over and we’re all weathering the post-Paris Fashion Week blues, Dover Street Market Paris will be there to dry our tears with its new courtyard installation: Georgia O’Keeffe by Comme des Garçons.

For her fourth courtyard curation for Dover Street Market Paris, Rei Kawakubo has brought the work of visionary American artist O’Keeffe into conversation with the architecture of the space. For this iteration, the courtyard’s metal pillars are wrapped in black-and-white photographs from the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum archives—some taken by O’Keeffe herself!—and overlaid with depictions of some of her most compelling artworks.

So if you’ve got post-Paris blues, you know what to do. And if you don’t? Do yourself a favour and witness O’Keeffe’s seminal blooms loom large anyway.

Georgia O’Keeffe by Comme des Garçons is currently on display in Dover Street Market Paris’ courtyard.
