Club kids, you better listen up! This is your last chance to be a part of one of the coolest techno music events in the Amsterdam area — Upclose festival — which is going to take over Spaarnwoude-Park on May 16th and 17th.

We are truly looking forward to listening and dancing to all the amazing artists that are gonna be part of this unique ensemble, and, to keep the excitement alive, we’ve compiled a list of a few DJs who are going to play at Upclose and that we can’t wait to see.

NINA KRAVIZ

Starting off STRONG, you can’t miss the talented and gorgeous Nina Kraviz. She brings a sound that is hypnotic, raw, and unpredictable. From her Siberian roots to her label трип/trip, she has built a world where techno, acid, minimal, and experimental coexist and inform each other. Behind the booth, expect a true journey between sharp turns and trippy pressure; instinctive, intense, and completely her own.

IGNEZ X RØDHÅD

This collab feels intriguing. Ignez brings an indefinable techno sound shaped by the coast, where waves and sand dunes found their way into his music early on; largely influenced by his upbringing close to the sea. Rødhåd adds years of experience and a deep-rooted commitment to real techno through his party-series-turned-label Dystopian. Together, they create a collaboration that feels inspired and spontaneous, driven by shared passion and trust.

ANETHA X PEGASSI

Oh, this b2b is going to be fun.

Anetha drives the set with bouncy, high-energy basslines, while Pegassi brings his unmistakable blend of eurodance, trance, techno, and house. Together, they create a dynamic, euphoric, and club-ready sound built for maximum impact on the dancefloor.

FREDDY K X MARRØN

With decades in the scene, Freddy K brings the force of a true techno activist. This time, expect his sound to lean into techno with a housey, groovy edge. MARRØN adds his fast, body-focused, almost ancestral energy, rooted in rhythm, tension, and movement. Together, they build an epic set, sweaty, sharp, and made for the dancefloor.

RENE WISE

Rene Wise’s approach to DJing is highly detail-oriented while holding a very strong vision for storytelling. He will attend both festival days, playing two different sides of his music. On Saturday, expect deep, driving techno built on rhythm, groove, and hypnotic precision. On Sunday, he shifts into a more house-oriented sound, showing a warmer and looser side. Across both sets, he keeps the dancefloor locked in!

JEANS X WOODY '92 X SPEKKI WEBU

Moving far beyond straight-up techno JEANS, Spekki Webu, and Woody92 bring us that classic Amsterdam club kid energy we never get tired of. Spekki Webu brings his psychedelic, genreless approach while Woody92 adds to the artistic sensibility, hypnotic techno, and ritualistic depth. Together with JEANS’ free-flowing style, they shape a set that feels like a trance — unstoppable immersion.
