WE TOOK OVER LOFI FOR THE LAUNCH OF ISSUE 13: FANTASY, WITH TWOJEYS

To mark the release of Numéro Netherlands Issue 13: Fantasy, we once again took over LOFI Amsterdam, a space that’s quickly becoming synonymous with our launch celebrations. This season, we promised ourselves to make it our most memorable launch party yet, and the perfect start to ADE. We brought together artists including Richie Hawtin, Marrøn, U.R. Trax, Olivia Mendez, Joya Astou, and many others, in collaboration with TwoJeys, to create this unforgettable night.
The theme Fantasy inspired not only the imagery of the issue but also the mood of the night, we wanted to create a night that is surreal, vibrant, dreamy and departs from reality. Returning to LOFI felt like a natural step, as its industrial setting contrasted beautifully with the fantastical elements we wanted to bring to life.

For this event, we joined forces with TwoJeys, whose vibrant energy and aesthetic resonated with ours.
The music lineup was carefully curated to reflect the same sense of fantasy. The night’s pre-party began with Ignez, then transitioned into an energetic sequence with Tommy Gold b2b Gyatso and U.R. Trax, leading up to a standout set from Richie Hawtin, one of our Fantasy cover stars, whose performance was one to remember.

The experience was supported by a mix of partners who helped shape the party beyond the music. Tecan Tequila kept us refreshed with palomas (that became somewhat of a signature for the night), while Sir Dam, Estrella Damm and Double Dutch added their own touches.
This year, we continued the celebration alongside The Gang Is Beautiful, inviting everyone to an afterparty that lasted until dawn. Together, we shaped the event’s visual identity, which beautifully reflected the mood and spirit we had imagined. This is where some more Numéro Netherlands favourites joined: Marrøn, Olivia Mendez, Joya Astou, Polygonia, Jeans and Prance each, in their own way, reminding us why we love them. As the sun rose and the lights came up, after hours of dancing, it was impossible to single out just one highlight.

For us, as a team, the night was truly touching and emotional. After months of creative work, seeing contributors, readers, friends, and collaborators gathered felt grounding and energising. It’s a reminder for us that behind every issue we create, there is a community that keeps expanding, one that fuels us to continue creating.
As Issue 13 closes one chapter, it also opens another. We’ve already begun preparations for Issue 14, and if this night was any indication, it will carry the same ambition and spirit that made Fantasy come alive. Thank you for being part of our story!
