BACKSTAGE AT ZOMER BY HUGO DI ZAZZO

Zomer closed a whirlwind year, among them being LVMH and Andam finalists, by showing that growth doesn’t mean going grey. Danial Aitouganov and Imruh Asha leaned into wearability without losing their sense of play. Breezy umbrella-inspired dresses with uneven hems, tailored trousers with detachable-sleeve coats, and striped separates that swung. Their signature humour came through in oversized showpieces, including a pink hair clip turned top, a giant diamond ring worn as a crossbody bag or belts with enormous buckles, balanced by genuinely sharp daywear. A finale camouflage sequin cocktail dress nodded to Art Deco’s centenary while proving Zomer’s knack for drama. Fun, wearable, and witty: exactly the mix that keeps them one to watch.
