CARTIER JEWELLERY INSTITUTE OPENS ITS DOORS FOR EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS 2025

words Dominika Głowacz

From September 19th to 21st, 2025, the Cartier Jewellery Institute will welcome the public for the European Heritage Days, offering a rare opportunity to discover the Maison’s exceptional savoir-faire. Located in the historic Hôtel Pinsot, a listed 18th-century mansion in Paris’s 9th arrondissement, the Institute has been dedicated since 2016 to transmitting the art of fine jewellery.

This year’s theme, Architectural Heritage, invites visitors on an immersive journey. You will have the opportunity to transform a precious stone into jewellery design and creation. Guests will then follow the step-by-step process of creating a piece. Demonstrations by jewellers, setters, casting experts, and polishers bring the craft to life. At the same time, hands-on workshops let visitors handle stones and even try their hand at setting under expert guidance.

On September 19th, the Institute will host a special day for school groups, welcoming students and associations including Fabrique Nomade and De l’Or dans les Mains, both dedicated to supporting artisans and inspiring young people. By opening its doors, Cartier reaffirms its commitment to preserving craftsmanship and passing it on to future generations.
