CHANEL RELEASES SHORT FILM AHEAD OF TOMORROW’S MÉTIERS D'ART 2026 SHOW

CHANEL has arrived in New York once again, and ahead of tomorrow’s Métiers d’art 2026 presentation, the Maison has released a short film to whet our appetites. Set against the Big Apple’s bustling cityscape, the Michel Gondry-directed short stars Margaret Qualley and A$AP Rocky as the perfect CHANEL-clad couple soundtracked by original music by Le Motel.

Qualley is resplendent in CHANEL’s signature tweed, whereas A$AP sports a more contemporary look from the house—a carefully-detailed silken suit. The clothes offer a preview of the colour and craftsmanship we can expect from tomorrow’s show, CHANEL’s annual celebration of the specialist ateliers that the house is known for. 

The red, white, and blue is as French as it comes, whilst paying homage to the Americana tradition of the collection’s host country.  It’s playful and elegant, just we’ve come to expect from CHANEL.
