CHURCH’S HOLIDAY 2025 CAMPAIGN BRINGS QUINTESSENTIAL BRITISH CHEER

Every year without fail, I make a private pact with myself: this year will be the year that I am organised when it comes to Christmas shopping and the writing of my list. But alas, just as in years past, October has come and gone, the first frosts have arrived, and I am yet to begin my festive preparations. Luckily for me, Church’s have unveiled their positively charming Holiday Campaign for 2025, featuring an eccentric trio of characters putting their own unique spin on British festive traditions.

Bringing the campaign to life is David James’ creative direction and Phil Poynter’s lens, and their artistic touch masterfully highlights both Church’s formal and leisure shoes. Throughout their festive escapades, the campaign’s triumvirate sport a variety of stunning Church’s creations, complementing country casual outfits as well as sophisticated black tie.
This campaign is resplendent with hallmarks of British charm, fitting for Church’s—an icon of British design, an illustrious shoemaker with a 150-year legacy rooted in Northamptonshire’s cobbling heartland.
The campaign begins with the trio uniting at a delightful country pile, each arriving in style. The gents don exemplary countryside tailoring bookended with Mayfair burnt Oxfords and the rugged yet refined Amberley ebony Chelsea boots. As for the lady of the manor? Accompanied by her doting four-legged liege she sports a pair of glossy Alexandra lace-up boots, their shiny patina effect achieved by hand-applying exclusive waxes.

From there on out the festive revellers change their attire to suit each occasion, whether it be an impromptu carol concert, brandy-infused pudding tasting, or the giving of gifts by the fireplace. Each time, the trio are well-equipped with elegant and appropriate footwear, be it the Ghillie Met kilt shoe or Sovereign velvet slippers.
