Numéro Netherlands Digital is proud to present Theatre of Reverie, an exclusive editorial by photographer ASHLEY CHAPPELL. Shot in Los Angeles, CHAPPELL reimagines the body and the self, using symbolic colour and abstraction to move between the seen and the unseen. Her subjects are at once playful and distant, adorned in feathers and face paint as they perform a sort of dream-like pantomime. Here clothes are a beautiful costume, concealing something free and unreachable.
