HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS IN MIU MIU!

“Miu Miu” dates back to Miuccia Prada’s childhood nickname, a familiarity that shaped a project meant to step away from Prada’s cerebral minimalism. In its place, something impulsive, and youthful came about and this holiday season, as the brand leans into that spirit anew with a campaign shot by Angela Hill and starring Gigi Hadid, Dede Mansro, Viola Sharp, and Ju Xiaowen.

Instead of the predictable winter wonderland set, the cast decidedly slips away to a quaint retreat in the British countryside. Where discreet sparkles nod to the festivities, nestled among crumpled and embroidered duchesse satin, patchworked shearling, glittering and sequined knits keep the spirit of the house alive. Filmed on Super 8 and photographed on film, the campaign carries that home-video charm reminding us of all those gift unboxing videos from our childhood. Miu Miu’s beloved contrasts truly find the space to flourish in this campaign creating an atmosphere that feels like going back to your hometown for the holidays still carrying a little big-city sparkle.
