NEW BALANCE LAUNCHES THE 204L: A THROWBACK TO THE 2000S

New Balance’s latest sneaker takes us straight back to the golden era of the early 2000s, when sneaker fashion was at its boldest. At the same time, you can spot subtle nods to 70s design, the decade when the sneaker scene really began to take shape.

The Boston brand unveiled the 204L with none other than Rosalía, their newest global brand ambassador. A perfect choice, she embodies the spirit of the shoe: modern, sporty, and dynamic, while often blending her style with 2000s vintage influences, she is someone who can think out of the box just as New Balance does.

“When designing the 204L, we knew we wanted to offer a versatile, sleek sneaker while creating something fresh,” said Pierome Sar, Senior Designer at New Balance. “It was a true collaborative effort working alongside our product manager, developer, and team of designers to bring this model to life.”

The 204L is shaping up to be a fall favourite. Officially dropped in stores at the end of July, you can already spot pairs on the streets; grab yours now.
