NUDE PROJECT GOES ANALOGUE WITH ITS NEW COLLECTION, ‘AIRPLANE MODE’

Inviting us to shut off our phones and ignore the all-consuming digital noise, Nude Project launches its latest collection titled ‘Airplane Mode’ — an ode to screenless summers. Closing off the ‘The Luxury of Time’ chapter, this launch serves as the final drop in their SS26 series. Each drop positions truly lived time as a fleeting luxury, celebrating digital disconnection and the freedom of exploring and experiences life outside of your smartphone’s grip.
Founded in Barcelona in 2019, the creators of the brand, Alex Benlloch and Bruno Casanovas, are no strangers to sunny beach-lorn summers. Expanding now to over 100 countries, they’ve brought their endless summer mindset to even the coldest corners of Europe, accentuating always a focus on creativity and an analogue lifestyle.
Extending the screenless concept to a wardrobe may be difficult to picture, but Nude Project manages to pull it off effortlessly. Inspired by the cult classic 2000 film, The Beach directed by Danny Boyle, the collection revolves around the freedom of getting lost without a destination and the spontaneous energy of carefree summers.
With looks fit for a utopian oasis, we are transported into a place where time is only measured by the sun’s heat and the experiences shared. Through a collaboration with the Paris-based photographer, Beltrán González, the campaign perfectly captured the joyour summer energy through his signature cinematic aesthetic, making each shot feel timeless through its deserted beach setting.
The collection itself drifts towards minimalistic styles with plain T-shirts and tops, that emphasize breathability and comfort with the addition of simple graphics. Linens also make their appearance through the trousers, cementing ths collection as the perfect mix of summertime staples. Each piece can be pictured relaxing on coastlines or resting on sandy beach towels, during midday sun-soaked swims. Bikinis and swimwear are also offered, taking a sporty influence and light fabric to perfect the summery vibe the collection naturally emits.
Accessories make their graceful appearance as well, tying together basics with a minimalist glam approach. Bags and totes serve beachside realness, while the jewellery adds a sunkissed glint to otherwise tame looks.
