‘PLEASE, I’M A STAR’ EDITORIAL BY DION BAL

Before they were gracing cinema screens, many of them were spending time on the boards of their local theatres. Please, I’m a Star, an editorial captured by DION BAL, pays homage to what comes before cinema — before international success. A retro-inspired mood takes us back to the beginnings and formative years of actors who just know they’re destined for greater things but don’t yet have the means to make that their reality. And so they dress up, overstyle themselves and put on a life-changing show every single time, patiently waiting for their big break. You never know who’s sitting in the audience.
