YOUR GUIDE TO CARTIER AT THIS YEAR’S VENICE FILM FESTIVAL
What does the Venice Film Festival stand for? Historicity, art, talent, craftsmanship. All values that Cartier embodies with its equally vast heritage.
When it comes to icons of the industry, sharp eyes could spot numerous Cartier pieces. For example, Zhao Tao appeared wearing the Sixième Sens par Cartier earrings, while Fernanda Torres shone in her Cartier Collection Panthère pendant ear clips.
Alberto Barbera graced the red carpet with his Cartier Santos-Dumont watch, and Paola Turani dazzled in Panthère de Cartier earrings. These pieces were nothing short of spectacular, grand enough for the grandeur of the event itself. A personal favorite must be the Panthère collection: unbelievably delicate and crafted, and proof that simple ideas, executed flawlessly, can achieve timeless brilliance.

But the story of Cartier at the festival does not end there. On the Frankenstein red carpet, Cartier accompanied the stars of the film: Jacob Elordi, Gemma Chan, Oscar Isaac, and many others. Jacob Elordi’s Venice look was undeniably the talk of the town, and it’s no surprise Cartier played a role: he wore a Cartier High Jewelry necklace in platinum with emeralds and diamonds, paired with the grand Tank Louis Cartier watch. Gemma Chan graced the event with elegant pendant ear clips, while Oscar Isaac wore the Tank Louis Cartier watch in 18k yellow gold alongside a Santos de Cartier bracelet.
Once again, Cartier proved itself as a defining force in the industry. Their creations are made for the red carpet, to dazzle alongside the artists who wear them. And so we ask: is it the jewelry that makes the artist iconic, or the artist who elevates the jewelry? Dear reader, the answer is yours to decide.
