You’re performing across Europe and walking major runways—how do you stay grounded while living such a fast-paced life?

I’m a pretty regular and easygoing person. I live in a small town near Barcelona, and I can’t wait to go back there every time I go out into the world. My friends keep me grounded. They’ve been in my life forever, and I just love small-town living.

Your upcoming appearance on Maestros de la Costura brings you into Spain’s fashion spotlight. What drew you to take part in that show?

I have always loved fashion, and I was honored when they chose me for a guest role in one of their episodes. I love the production company that makes the show, Shine Iberia, and when they called me, I said yes right away.

Music and fashion are both about expression—do you approach songwriting the same way you approach building a look?

Yeah, honestly, that’s a fun way to put it. In fashion, just like in writing, I try to go with the vibe of my emotions and how I feel. I always try to tell a story. Not in my day-to-day looks, but when we do events or bigger projects, we always come up with a theme and a general idea of the look and what we want to achieve. And with writing, it’s the same thing—you start with a concept, and then you build the rest from there.

You’re walking for DSQUARED at Milan Fashion Week. What does that brand represent for you, especially on such a milestone anniversary?

This brand has brought me so many opportunities I was genuinely excited about, from being the face of their new ICON campaign to walking in their 30th anniversary show in Milan. It means the world to me how Dean and Dan, and the whole Dsquared2 team, have been so good to me. I loved the brand long before I started working with them, and I’ve always admired their concept of fashion and how they constantly evolve without losing their essence. Not many brands can achieve that, and they absolutely kill it.

Rabanne blends futuristic style with classic luxury. What excites you most about continuing as their ambassador this year?

Rabanne is also a brand I loved even before working with them, and I was so excited to become an ambassador. Their different perfumes each represent a unique theme, and I’ve always liked how they play with those concepts—whether it’s One Million or Phantom. I have to say, the best brand trips I’ve ever taken have been with them. The team is amazing, and they think of every little detail.

You’ve performed in Spain and Italy recently. Which crowd surprised you the most with their energy, and why?

I have to say that Italy has been incredible to me. Italian crowds are something else—I love them. I’m so happy every time I get to sing there. My song Supersónico played on the radio there last summer, and they love singing it at the shows. It’s such a crazy fun moment.

Do you have a ritual or mindset going into big red carpet moments like Cannes?

I like to relax, and before a big event like that, I always ask my makeup team to hydrate my skin a bit more than usual and do a little facial massage. It’s random, but I can definitely tell the difference.

Your fans are always eager for new music. What’s inspiring your next releases, both musically and emotionally?

Right now I’m focused on my acting career, and music releases have been on pause for a few months. But I really appreciate how excited people always are to use the music I’ve put out.

You move so seamlessly between industries. Do you ever feel the pressure to “define” yourself—or is that the point, to break labels?

You know, I feel really lucky that I get to do what I love when I want. I’ve always supported myself in my ventures, and everything I do comes out of my own pocket, so I never feel like I have to prove myself to anyone except me and my people. I love expressing myself in different areas, and I want to keep doing whatever makes me happy in the moment, for as long as I can.

If you had to describe this chapter of your life in three words, what would they be—and why?

Fun, exciting, and surprising. I never stop evolving, and what I always tell people who grow quickly on social media or get a crazy amount of exposure in a short time is: keep your feet on the ground, don’t think you’re better than anyone else, and remember that the best thing is to maintain your career over the years rather than burn through your fame too quickly. Me, for example, I love taking on new projects, and I am really excited about what's coming.
