AUDEMARS PIGUET CELEBRATES 150 YEARS WITH MARK RONSON AND RAYE
To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Audemars Piguet unveiled an original track created by longtime collaborator Mark Ronson and newly announced friend of the brand RAYE. The song, titled Suzanne, was revealed during an intimate event at 180 Studios in London, where clients, artists, and friends of the brand gathered for an evening of music, storytelling, and surprise performances.
Rooted in the theme of legacy, Suzanne was born out of a months-long collaboration between Ronson and RAYE, recorded across London, New York, and Los Angeles. The track blends analog and digital elements, brought to life by RAYE’s unmistakable vocals. Its title took on deeper meaning when the artists discovered the historical connection to Suzanne Audemars, a figure tied to the founding story of the Manufacture.
The project is accompanied by a behind-the-scenes film, Syncing Sounds 150, which documents the duo’s creative process and artistic synergy. This release is part of the brand’s growing APxMusic programme, a platform that connects music and watchmaking through collaborative storytelling.
RAYE, one of the UK’s most celebrated artists, joins AP at a high point in her career. In 2024, she made history at the BRIT Awards and continues to redefine what it means to be an independent artist. Her partnership with AP marks a new chapter in the brand’s creative evolution.
Audemars Piguet continues to use music as a way to expand its cultural footprint, bringing together innovation, craftsmanship, and community. Suzanne is more than a track. It is a tribute to creative legacy, both personal and historical.
