AWAKENINGS ADE UNVEILS ITS PROGRAMME AND A BOLD NEW LOCATION

7 shows in 5 days — from Wednesday, October 22 to Sunday, October 26 — get ready for Awakenings' take on ADE. For the first time ever, the event will not be held at the iconic Gashouder, but instead at Sugarfactory, a former 19th-century sugar refinery.

The location is truly special. An artefact from 1863, this space has never been used for a rave before. It’s a first — and Awakenings is set to make it unforgettable. ADE is always exciting, and every year it becomes more iconic. There’s always pressure to deliver memorable lineups, but judging by what we’ve seen so far, that won’t be a problem.

You’ll spot favourites like Chris Stussy, Ryan Elliott, Freddy K, Ogazón, Adam Beyer, Joris Voorn, Nico Moreno, and Rødhåd. Expect genre-blending moments, hard techno, and full-on psychic trance. No surprise — these artists are defining the scene right now.

And yes, industrial venues always raise the question of location, but Sugarfactory is in a great spot, just five minutes by train from Sloterdijk, with plenty of public transport and parking nearby. Now there’s really no reason to stay home.
