CHANEL PRESENTS ITS FALL/WINTER 2025/26 READY TO WEAR CAMPAIGN

CHANEL’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 Ready-to-Wear campaign with Mona Tougaard as the leading role in a black-and-white Paris feels more imagined than real. Shot by Mikael Jansson, it’s Paris as pure atmosphere full of Café terraces, Haussmannian façades and the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

What looks like a cape is actually a dress. What seems like a blouse is layered under a sequinned waistcoat. CHANEL’s love of trompe l’œil is out in full force, but this time with a streetwise attitude. The textures are rich—tweed glints under low winter light, leather flounces catch a breeze, and pearls are both jewellery and handbag.

Through this collection, accessories have outgrown their causal supporting role. Velvet-bow ankle boots, giant totes disguised as bows, and tweed gloves all pull focus. Jewellery is intentional, worn in multiples, layered to excess, and designed to move with the body. There’s a rock-and-romantic duality to Tougaard’s styling that feels modern without losing that signature CHANEL lure.

With this campaign, CHANEL goes beyond just showing clothes. It’s creating a mood, a mise en scène, a collection that reveals itself gradually.
