DR MARTENS JOINS MADEME IN THE CREATION OF THE NEW BUZZ SHOE

Dr. Martens and NYC’s MadeMe return for SS25 with a sharp revival of the Buzz shoe, an iconic late-’90s silhouette. Designed by Erin Magee, MadeMe’s founder and Supreme’s CCO, the collab pulls from the same place Magee always does: underground youth culture, and the women who define it.

This season’s Buzz lands in tactile Hair-On leather, covered in a black-and-white check. An oversized Velcro strap and padded collar keep it grounded in wearability, while the chunky curved sole and DM’s yellow welt stitch give it instant presence. It’s graphic, bold, and made to stand out without trying too hard. Magee’s take doesn’t aim for nostalgia, rather it moves like memory but thinks forward. The Buzz is about instinct, identity, and the kind of style that never really asks for permission in the first place.
