FILIPPA K UNVEILS ANNA TEURNELL’S DEBUT CAPSULE COLLECTION

Anna Teurnell, creative lead for Filippa K, just launched her first capsule collection for the brand. The collection is curated like a complete wardrobe for the colder seasons, with each garment embodying a unique and defined look. Teurnell’s holistic vision on the capsule reinforces the ethos of the Swedish house: reducing stress on styling choices through effortless, sustainable basics.

The collection combines contemporary dressing with traditional tailoring details, all within a neutral colour palette that is so well-known in the Scandinavian area. Material and textiles play a key role here, as oversized jackets and slim trousers are in sultry suède, while a-line skirts are crafted from soft mohair. Alpaca- and lambwool additionally provide a comfortable and cozy texture to the garments, and are styled with 90s Stacked Bootcut jeans — an homage to the brand’s original stretch denim.

“My debut capsule for Filippa K entirely revolves around the essential pieces that form a look. The feel is casual, but refined — a mix of masculine and feminine, and the combination of soft textures and sharp details for a wardrobe that is easy to mix and match,” says Teurnell.

The collection is available through its flagship stores, as well as online.
