JENNIE FOR CHANEL’S PRE-FALL 25/26 COLLECTION

Photographed by Craig McDean in the serene gardens of the Palais-Royal in Paris, CHANEL ambassador and global icon JENNIE fronts the House’s Fall-Winter 2025/26 pre-collection campaign.

Set just steps away from the Ritz and Rue Cambon, the location holds historical resonance. Gabrielle Chanel often spent time here with literary and artistic figures such as Colette and Jean Cocteau, making it one of her most cherished places in the city.

The collection, styled on JENNIE with effortless confidence, draws inspiration from the masculine-feminine silhouettes of 1990s romantic comedies. There is an interplay of proportions and textures, as seen in a voluminous wool and cashmere tweed coat with broad shoulders, worn casually over a tank top and jeans. “The 90s have always spoken to me,” JENNIE shares. “Not just the fashion, but the spirit. I love how the women in rom-coms from that era felt strong and vulnerable at once. Their style was playful, mixing feminine and boyish touches in a way that felt romantic but also preppy. That duality is something I try to bring into my own wardrobe.”

The collection explores this contrast through refined tailoring and carefully chosen materials. A structured black leather coat with gold buttons stands alongside a black double crêpe corset with beaded straps, recalling a man’s waistcoat but softened by delicate detailing. “Wearing these silhouettes makes me feel grounded and empowered,” JENNIE notes. “They’re strong, but still elegant. I love how this collection allows both energies to coexist.”

In a Paris apartment overlooking the gardens, JENNIE wears a wool tweed miniskirt suit and a soft cashmere ensemble with sky-blue flounced edges. Beneath the arcades of the Palais-Royal, she appears in fluid beige leather, evoking quiet ease and movement.

Accessories echo the tactile softness of the garments. Pastel pieces stand out in the form of quilted heart-shaped bags in pale pink and baby blue, along with a minaudière modeled after the House’s iconic makeup palettes. These details bring a playful yet refined touch to the season’s look.

The CHANEL Fall-Winter 2025/26 pre-collection is now available in boutiques worldwide.
