NÓMADAS FESTIVAL RETURNS

This year, Nómadas Festival makes its much-anticipated return – bringing with it a breathtaking lineup of international artists and an inspiring venue unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. Following the resounding success of its previous edition, which drew over 5,000 attendees from 25 different nationalities in just one day, Nómadas is set to once again create an immersive celebration of electronic music, culture, and connection.

To me, Nómadas evokes one feeling, one word above all: teleportation. The festival’s atmosphere, aesthetic, and energy transports you away into a dreamlike dimension, one that feels deeply personal, and it can be shaped by your own vision and imagination. True to its name, Nómadas carries the spirit of ancient simplicity. It’s about beautiful souls coming together to move, connect, and lose themselves in rhythm, the message is simple but one I cannot help but adore.

As Tiago Cruz from the organizing team puts it:

“The festival is increasingly playing a key role in establishing Braga as a landmark destination for major cultural events on an international scale. We've managed to attract renowned artists and a diverse audience from around the world, boosting the local economy and placing Braga on the contemporary culture map.”

This year’s location is majestic and quite exquisite: Pedreira do Monte Castro in Braga, Portugal. This quarry sits on land defined by myth and history. Once the heart of Bracara Augusta, the Roman capital of Gallaecia, it’s a place where history surrounds us and those ancient times feel remarkably close. Making it the perfect backdrop for an experience that feels like stepping into another realm in the first place.

And then, there’s the lineup. Prepare to be mesmerised by the sounds of headliners Peggy Gou and RÜFÜS DU SOL (DJ Set), joined by an ensemble including Jean Claude Ades, Jean Philippe & Mole, Marten Lou, Miguel Rendeiro, Mimi x Fy, Nadia Boulif, Paulo PG, RIVO, Samm, Shia, Tiago Cruz, and Gusta-Vo.

Numéro Netherlands will be there to capture the essence of this long-awaited festival, and I’ll be sharing every enchanting moment with you. But above all, I hope to see you there in the crowd, dancing beneath the ancient skies of Braga.
