THE IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN PILOT’S WATCH AUTOMATIC 41 TOP GUN MOJAVE DESERT
June 2, 2025: IWC Schaffhausen's new addition to its “Colors of TOP GUN” collection, is the Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 TOP GUN Mojave Desert. Its minimalistic sand colour reminisces the China Lake area in the Western Mojave Desert, and of course, the Navy pilots’ flight suits.
With a diameter of 41 millimetres, the new watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 32112 calibre. Achieving the colour is a similarly meticulous process, as IWC blends zirconium oxide with other metallic oxides, after countless trials, achieving an elegant and graceful final look.
For IWC the magic is in the details, the brown dial features a minute scale and numerals all coated with Super-LumiNova to ensure perfect legibility in low-light conditions. The monochromatic design is complemented by a beige rubber strap with a textile inlay and a titanium pin buckle. Light and robust titanium is also used for the case back, which is engraved with the iconic “TOP GUN” logo.
IWC has always been a pioneer for their pilot watches, they are delicate, functional, and light while staying elegant and refined. Over its more than 150-year history IWC has always produced products that define the design, engineering and manufacturing of watches. The Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 TOP GUN Mojave Desert is a further benchmark to demonstrate this.
