For the 2025 edition of Watches and Wonders, Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates the city that gave birth to its vision: Paris. The Maison’s newest creations, steeped in romance and craftsmanship, embrace the essence of the city with an enchanting tribute. Central to this collection is the Pont des Amoureux series, which expands with new color harmonies, adding depth to the ongoing narrative of love and time. The new Lady Arpels Bal des Amoureux Automate watch continues this journey, offering a fresh interpretation with a tender reunion at the heart of Parisian charm.

The Lady Arpels Bal des Amoureux Automate sets the scene for an intimate moment with an automaton movement, bringing the lovers together for a kiss, both at noon and midnight. This watch is defined by five planes within the dial, where depth and perspective are created using grisaille enamel, a technique the Maison has mastered.

Van Cleef & Arpels further explores its Poetry of Time through two Extraordinary Objects, which celebrate the passing of time through playful automata and celestial themes. The Naissance de l’Amour automaton, for example, depicts Cupid rising from a basket of feathers, fluttering his wings to the tune of a carillon, while the Planétarium automaton brings the solar system to life, a testament to the Maison's intricate craftsmanship and imaginative storytelling.
