YEREYERE MAKES THEIR LOFI DEBUT ON AUGUST 31ST
words by NATALIE GAL
August 31st will be a special date for Lofi, as they'll be closing the summer of 2025 with a bang. In the courtyard of one of the city’s favorite venues, YEREYERE will make their debut, a special collective focused on nighlife, art, music and carefree connection.
YEREYERE is envisioned as a creative playground, much like when we were kids, playgrounds were the place to experiment, engage, learn, and at their core, get to know others. Now YEREYERE provides a space for DJs, designers, dancers, dreamers, creatives, artists, and storytellers to connect and create, taking us back to a time when we were careless kids.
The launch event is all about introduction: who they are, what their plans entail, and what their ethos truly is. And of course, true to Lofi's spirit, there will be plenty of dancing and a memorable line-up.
Behind YEREYERE are five key people: Travis Allen, creative director, DJ, and co-founder of MODULATE, whose focus lies in visual storytelling and community building via nightlife experiences. Raven Karijo also has her roots in nightlife, standing firm for the LGBTQ+ community, and is the mind behind all logistics such as artist bookings, events, and project management.
Gijs Joziasse, head of production and founder of Tripple 5, a secondhand garment label, has strong ties to the fashion industry. Meanwhile, Rob Black, artist and performer, also focuses on nightlife and the stories that lie within it. Finally, Laurent Sugarman, designer and co-founder of MODULATE, shapes the stunning visual world of YEREYERE.
The line-up is fluid and intergenerational, where everyone will find tunes they love. Taking the stage will be LSDXOXO, BIIANCO, Tsepo b2b Rob Black, Bebe Bad b2b Raven Karijo, Lola Edo b2b Travis Allen, and IFIF.
Tickets are now live for the evening, and honestly, we cannot imagine a better way to end summer... by starting something new. See you at the courtyard of Lofi, August 31st, 14:00 sharp!
