DIOR CLAIMS SAINT-TROPEZ'S CULINARY SCENE WITH CHEF COLAGRECO’S MONSIEUR DIOR AND LE CAFÉ DIOR

Every summer, Dior returns to the French Riviera with a vision that extends far beyond the boutique, embracing the slower rituals that define life in the South of France with its long lunches beneath parasols, leisurely afternoons, and that way of living that consistently centres beauty. In Saint-Tropez, that vision is skillfully conveyed through the restaurant Monsieur Dior and Le Café Dior, where three-Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco continues his dialogue with the House, transforming gastronomy into another expression of Dior's art de vivre. The reopening of the renovated Saint-Tropez boutique provides the perfect environment for the restaurant to fully express the House’s soul.

Just a few steps from the glimmering Mediterranean waters, surrounded by stone walls and lush vegetation, Monsieur Dior feels less like a material extension of Dior's creative universe, just like a garment would. Much like Christian Dior looked to flowers, gardens and nature as endless sources of inspiration, Colagreco builds his cuisine around seasonality and the changing rhythms of the landscape, allowing ingredients, colours and textures to evolve almost the way couture does. His approach translates the House's visual codes into dishes that reference iconic silhouettes and motifs without ever feeling overly literal.

That dialogue becomes clear just looking through the menu. Rubis de la Méditerranée reinterprets the classic Niçoise salad through the lens of the Andalouse gown, while Langouste en Voyage pays tribute to the elegant travelling suits worn by Dior women in the 1950s, pairing lobster with delicate notes of vanilla and fennel. Even dessert continues the conversation, with La Ruche Dior subtly incorporating the House's signature cannage motif in a peach and almond delicacy.

Each plate reflects the same attention to composition, craftsmanship and storytelling that defines couture itself. Guests can experience these ideas through the sun-drenched three-course Déjeuner de Soleil or the more nocturnal five-course Clair de Lune, both reflecting Saint-Tropez's dynamic energy shift from day into night.

The experience continues next door at Le Café Dior, where breakfast, afternoon tea and pastries become another branch of the same story. Floral creations such as La Corolle, Le Nœud and Fleur de Pêcher, botanical mocktails and the Bal des Fleurs afternoon tea blur the boundaries between pâtisserie and couture.

The newly renovated boutique, inspired by Christian Dior's beloved Provençal gardens and now home to Jonathan Anderson's latest collections, frames this entire experience beautifully, letting the table become a place where fashion is something you can taste, experience and inhabit.
