FITNESS MEETS FANTASY AT SAINTS & STARS NEWLY OPENED EUROPE’S MOST LUXURIOUS GYM AT LEIDSEPLEIN

Forget everything you thought you knew about going to the gym. On May 22, Saints & Stars opened its jaw-dropping Flagship Club at Leidseplein, a five-story, 2,500-square-meter fitness palace that’s setting a whole new standard for working out. The Flagship Club is anything but your average gym — it’s a bold, immersive and luxurious in all the right ways.
The new club brings eight unique training concepts under one very stylish roof, including two brand-new ones that have everyone talking: Holy Hyrox and Holy Recovery.
If you haven’t heard of Hyrox yet, that’s about to change. Hyrox is a fast growing global fitness competition, and Saints & Stars is going all-in with a Holy Hyrox, which is a full-on performance studio designed for people who like to sweat. Created with champion athlete and Hyrox world record holder Robert van Herk, this workout is all about endurance, strength, and pushing your limits in a big way. “It’s addictive — once you try it, you want to beat your time, beat yourself,” says Van Herk. If you’re looking to level up, this is the place to do it.
Of course, going all out means you need next-level recovery too, and Saints & Stars is ready to provide. Holy Recovery is a futuristic chill zone that blends infrared light, oxygen therapy, and dry floating into one ultra-calming session. It’s powered by top-of-the-line Gharieni tech and feels more like stepping into a wellness capsule than a gym. “It’s like pressing reset on your entire body in just 30 minutes,” says founder Tom Moos.
The Flagship Club was designed by interior architect Eric Kuster, who made it look and feel like a luxury escape. Velvet textures, moody lighting, gold details — it’s all very vibey. And then there’s the service: minty-cool towels, Dyson everything, premium skincare, personal concierges, and so much more. Even the rain showers are better than the ones at home. It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to hang out long after your workout ends.
This new location is Saints & Stars’ fourth in the city, but it’s definitely the boldest. And it’s not stopping here. “Amsterdam is just the beginning,” says Moos. “We’ve got our eyes on London, Paris — maybe even more.” If you’ve ever wanted your workout to feel like a night out, a spa day, and a performance challenge rolled into one, Saints & Stars just gave you the ultimate excuse to show up.
