With the unveiling of this new restaurant concept, Hotel Okura seeks to expand its repertoire by adding a new dimension to their culinary offerings. While the Japanese dinner concept offered a full evening experience, KIRI focuses on lunch. It translates the Japanese philosophy of the bento, which serves as a symbol of aesthetic appreciation matched with nutritional awareness and practical efficiency. Everything is meticulously arranged in a vibrant array, highlighting Okura’s signature attention to detail. This new opening allows for a daytime culinary experience in a way that was not possible before at the esteemed hotel-restaurant.
The menu in bento form includes an arrangement of regularly alternating delicacies, from fresh sashimis doused in sesame sauce to finely sliced duck breast and Wagyu sukini. Complemented by side dishes such as Japanese rice with mushrooms, miso soup, and chawanmushi with snow crab, the meal ensures a luxurious experience. The finishing touch is the refreshing matcha ice cream that leaves the guest perfectly satisfied.
Housed in an intimate space with an enchanting view of the hotel's Japanese garden, the setting offers an oasis of tranquility, ideal for an efficiently delicious business lunch or a moment of revitalizing indulgence.
