LANDO NORRIS WINS FORMULA 1® DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2026 TROPHY IN LOUIS VUITTON TRUNK

McLaren Mastercard F1 Team claimed victory at the FORMULA 1® HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2026, with Lando Norris receiving the trophy presented in its Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk. The race marks Louis Vuitton’s second season as an Official Partner of Formula 1, with the Trophy Trunk present across key moments of the race weekend and on the podium. Specially designed to protect and showcase the trophy, the trunk reflects Louis Vuitton’s dedication to excellence, savoir-faire and innovative design.

For this year’s Formula 1 Trophy Trunks, Louis Vuitton introduced a new House signature element: the Victory patch. Inspired by traditional travel stickers and marked with the winner’s initials, each patch celebrates the history of every Grand Prix and the driver who shaped it. Following his victory, Lando Norris’ initials were added alongside those of the 2025 winner, Oscar Piastri, creating a record of the race’s winners.

As with all custom Louis Vuitton pieces, the Trophy Trunk was handcrafted at the House’s historic atelier in Asnières, France. The workshop has been central to Louis Vuitton’s connection with automotive culture since 1897, when Georges Vuitton created the first automotive trunks. His development of “Vuittonite,” a durable canvas designed to withstand the elements, would later evolve into the iconic Louis Vuitton canvas.

Throughout its history, Louis Vuitton has created trunks to transport and showcase trophies for the world’s most emblematic sporting competitions. Building on this tradition, the Maison continues to bring its savoir-faire and craftsmanship to moments of sporting excellence, reinforcing the idea that “Victory Travels in Vuitton.” Since its first partnership with the America’s Cup in 1983, Louis Vuitton has joined forces with some of the world’s most prestigious sporting competitions and awards.

Louis Vuitton also featured across the Zandvoort circuit through dedicated creative track signage, including a specially designed Louis Vuitton signature celebrating the Official Partnership between Formula 1® and the House.
