OSCAR PIASTRI WINS DUTCH GRAND PRIX WITH LOUIS VUITTON TROPHY TRUNK
At the Formula 1® Heineken Dutch Grand Prix 2025 in Zandvoort, Oscar Piastri claimed victory for McLaren—and with it, one of the season’s most distinctive prizes: the race trophy presented in a bespoke Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk.

The piece, created specially for the Grand Prix, accompanied the trophy throughout the weekend, from the grid to the anthem and finally to the podium, where Piastri lifted it before a sea of orange-clad fans. Its presence underscored the partnership between Formula 1 and Louis Vuitton, now in its fifteenth race of the 2025 season, and the sixteenth trunk crafted this year.
For Louis Vuitton, the collaboration builds on a long tradition of safeguarding the world’s most celebrated sporting symbols. From the FIFA World Cup™ and Roland Garros to the Ballon d’Or® and the NBA Championship, each trunk is a study in savoir-faire, designed not only to protect but also to frame moments of triumph.
The Zandvoort trunk follows that legacy with a design that blends innovation and heritage, echoing the Maison’s philosophy that “Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton.” As much as it is about sport, it is also about presentation: the ceremony of winning heightened by craftsmanship.
