TAG HEUER IS RACE READY

Ahead of this weekend's Formula 1 British Grand Prix, TAG Heuer welcomed drivers, collectors and friends of the brand to celebrate its long-standing relationship with motorsport. The evening also marked the launch of the new limited-edition TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Gulf.
Ahead of Silverstone, TAG Heuer welcomed guests to 1 Cromwell Place for an evening celebrating its ties to motorsport alongside partners Formula 1, Gulf and Oracle Red Bull Racing.
The focus of the night was a conversation between Oracle Red Bull Racing driver Isack Hadjar, F1 ACADEMY driver Megan Bruce and TAG Heuer Heritage Director Nicholas Biebuyck, who, ahead of a busy race weekend, discussed everything from prep and race strategy to the brand's history on the grid.
Among those in attendance were F1 commentator Toni Cowan-Brown, presenter Izzy Hammond, content creators Bella James and Araminta Reed, and musician and watch collector James McVey.
The evening also marked the launch of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Gulf; limited in production, the 44mm Grade 2 titanium chronograph features Gulf's signature blue and orange stripes, continuing a partnership that has become part of motorsport's visual identity. That connection dates back to 1971, when Steve McQueen wore a Heuer Monaco while driving a Gulf-liveried Porsche 917K in Le Mans. The pairing has become one of motorsport's most recognisable images, with the Monaco still one of the most celebrated watches ever made.
Guests also explored a series of displays curated by Biebuyck, including a racing suit inspired by McQueen's Le Mans look, a tribute to the Monaco 1133B chronograph, a replica ‘50s Gulf fuel pump, and replicas of Max Verstappen's racing suit and helmet, while champagne flowed and Floss Jordan took over the decks.
