To celebrate the release of Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum, we joined EX NIHILO and Skins in Paris for an unforgettable few days of dining and discovery, where we explored every facet of EX NIHILO’s creative process. The house, founded in 2013 by a young trio from Paris, is inspired by both the creative avant-garde and the French spirit of pure refinement. During the trip, we met master perfumer Jordi Fernández, with whom EX NIHILO has collaborated intensively for over five years, and bore witness to his genius. It was Fernández who translated the character of the original Eau de Parfum into an even more intense fragrance experience, the addictive new Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum.
Where the original Blue Talisman Eau de Parfum was characterized by citrus, wood, and amber, the Extrait de Parfum takes a new direction with fruity, floral, and amber notes. The fragrance is like its own rhapsody in blue, with opening notes of fresh, juicy pear and sparkling bergamot. At the heart is the intensely warm crescendo of orange blossom and jasmine sambac, whilst the base plays a creamier, mellow melody, incorporating amber, vanilla, and sandalwood. With a high concentration of 30%, Blue Talisman Extrait de Parfum is a creation that leaves a mystical and seductive sillage—inescapable and addictive.
