SAY BONJOUR TO SISLEY… IN THE HEART OF AMSTERDAM!
words by VERONICA TLAPANCO SZABÓ
After Paris, Antwerp, and Milan, it’s about time the Dutch capital joined the Sisley club. Nestled on Van Baerlestraat in the Museum Quarter, Maison Sisley is as international as it is multifaceted with skincare, fragrance and haircare all eagerly colliding in one space. Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by pastel floral motifs, golden ginkgo leaf sculptures (a cheeky nod to the Sisleÿa line), and a sense that every corner was carefully curated.

Take the welcoming table for example, it isn’t just for show, depending on the day it can turn into the spot for a masterclass, where Sisley specialists guide visitors through the brand’s signature products and philosophies. And if you’re here for the scent journey, their cozy perfume salon is for you, featuring artworks by Pierre Boncompain and hand-painted armchairs by Elzbieta Radziwill, it will hit all the notes (literally and metaphorically).
Looking back on Sisley’s history since its founding in 1976 by Hubert d’Ornano, the Maison has been at the forefront of phyto-cosmetology, which essentially refers to the practice of blending potent plant extracts with rigorous scientific research. The Sisleÿa range, especially the L’Intégral Anti-Âge Sérum Essentiel Longévité, has become a symbol of this mission: helping us age gracefully while staying as radiant as ever (and it’s not just for women, Sisley also offers a dedicated range for men!) Sisley doesn’t just stop at the face, Hair Rituel by Sisley offers personalised consultations and treatments in a dedicated space, from regenerative hair protocols to Shiatsu-inspired massages, think of this experience as a full-circle transformation, from scalp to toe!
As Christine d’Ornano puts it, “We designed the Maison in Amsterdam to feel like a home, where you can enjoy the full range of Sisley expertise and experience Sisley treatments that perfectly complement your home routine.” And honestly? Walking in, you’ll believe her, we sure did.
