Last week, the iconic rum brand and the legendary Dutch music label brought together exactly the kind of crowd you want in one room: artists, creatives, industry insiders, and a stylish wave of music lovers who clearly knew they were in the right place. The energy was high, reverberating on the walls that — by the way — were covered in fridges fully stocked with BACARDÍ, of course. Quite the perfect premise, right?
The night revolved around the collaboration between BACARDÍ x Top Notch for The Sound of Rum x 30 Years of Top Notch project, where they joined forces to connect people through the power of music. A collaboration where Top Notch classics get reinterpreted by the current generation of producers. Legends meet today’s sound in a musical pairing as timeless as a BACARDÍ & Cola.
From the moment doors opened, it felt like a true celebration of hip-hop and music in general. The space was fully decked out in a Caribbean vibe, with guests making their way through the palm trees to the sound of a bassline that makes your shoulders roll before you even realize it. DJs kept the room hot with classic Top Notch records and new sounds, cocktails were flowing, the dance floor was packed with a crowd that came ready to dance, and it felt like the room had caught a warm island breeze.
Then came the live moments everyone was waiting for. When Frenna hit the stage alongside producer NEMS for “My Love”, the room instantly switched gears. Phones went up, the crowd followed along every word, and the refreshed version of the track felt nostalgic but very exciting. Later, Sef and Yung Felix came in with “Diamanten”, and suddenly the entire crowd felt like one moving body. It was loud, chaotic in the best way, and easily one of the biggest moments of the night.
Between the performances, the energy stayed fun with great music, sick outfits, and people catching up while holding a perfectly mixed BACARDÍ cocktail.
