HARRY STYLES BRINGS ‘TOGETHER, TOGETHER’ TO LIFE WITH A MASSIVE OPENING NIGHT IN AMSTERDAM
words by FRANCESCO PIZZUTI
Last night in Amsterdam, Harry Styles officially launched his Together, Together 2026 global residency at Johan Cruijff ArenA, opening what is already a record-breaking 10-night run in the city. Sold out, euphoric and completely alive, the first night set the tone for a 67-date global journey across seven cities, proving once again how Harry’s world is carefully crafted, built on community, intimacy and atmosphere.

Amsterdam was the perfect ignition for this new chapter as Styles transformed the expansive arena into something strangely personal, pulling tens of thousands of fans into a shared space where spectacle felt warm, and emotion felt truly genuine. The production was immersive yet simple, never swallowing him, but instead, amplifying what has always made Harry such a magnetic performer: the ability to make a stadium feel like a secret, to turn pop grandeur into something almost tactile.
The show also marked the live arrival of his fourth album, KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY., a title that already sounds like a manifesto, romantic and a little cheeky, excessive and just unserious enough to be sincere. New tracks emerged alongside popular hits and fan favourites, creating a setlist that moved between sweat and softness. From the sweet glow of Golden and Adore You to the emotional weight of Fine Line, Matilda, Sign of the Times and As It Was, the night unfolded like a map of Harry’s many selves, between the pop star and the sentimentalist boy with a microphone.

But Together, Together is also a flex. With more than 450,000 tickets sold across his Amsterdam run, Styles has set a new Dutch ticket sales record. From here, the residency continues through London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne and Sydney, including 12 nights at Wembley Stadium and a staggering 30-show run at Madison Square Garden, his only U.S. dates this year. Special guests across select dates include Robyn, Shania Twain, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé and Skye Newman, giving the tour the feeling of a curated pop universe.
Still, what makes this era interesting is not only its scale, but its intention. This idea of community, of giving back to the people who have always supported him, is rendered everywhere. Moreover, the tour continues Harry’s longstanding partnership with Choose Love, supporting humanitarian aid through food, shelter, education and direct community support. It also works with Green Nation, Live Nation’s sustainability initiative, to reduce waste, encourage lower-impact travel, expand plant-based options and use alternative fuels where possible.

Opening night in Amsterdam made one thing very clear: Together, Together is Harry’s whole point. Harry Styles has built a world where pop becomes communal, where disco can be tender, where a stadium can blush, and where thousands of people can, for one night, feel like they are all inside the same song.
