VERTUO WORLD PARTY TAKES OVER CANNES

Nespresso celebrated its new partnership with Global Brand Ambassador Dua Lipa at the Vertuo World Party in Cannes, as names from fashion, beauty and entertainment descended on the glitzy French Riviera.
Nespresso kicked off a new chapter on Friday evening, hosting its Vertuo World Party at La Plage Nespresso in Cannes to celebrate its partnership with newly announced Global Brand Ambassador Dua Lipa. The singer recently joined the brand as the face of Nespresso’s latest Vertuo World campaign, and this bash was a glamorous celebration of the collaboration’s launch.
Timed with Cannes’ annual takeover of the Côte d’Azur, with film premieres, fashion events and late night parties aplenty, the party added another stop to the festival’s after-hours circuit. Earlier in the day, Dua had made a red carpet appearance before heading to La Plage Nespresso, the brand’s dedicated beach destination, where music, dancing and fun carried on long after sunset.
Those in attendance included Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Sprouse, tv presenter and Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta and actress Paola Locatelli, alongside Paul Duchemin, Diamant Blazi and Melissa Thiebaut. DJ sets from Mooglie, GJIN, Isaac Carter and Tommy Gold soundtracked the night with a mix of electro and dance music for people to party to.
For the occasion, Dua Lipa wore a vintage metallic chainmail mini dress from Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2009 collection, styled with statement Bvlgari jewellery. Against the Cannes backdrop, the evening proved a fittingly glamorous way to celebrate the launch of Nespresso’s new collaboration with the superstar.
