OUR PRE-LAUNCH CELEBRATION WITH NEW BALANCE GREY DAYS
As flowers come to a bloom, we can finally say that spring has fully sprung — which also means Grey Days is back again as the annual celebration of the iconic grey collection by New Balance. Coinciding with the launch of our LOVE Issue 14 and the debut of our very first sports section, we’ve collaborated with New Balance to create a special editorial that can be found in our latest print issues. Celebrating with a restorative morning session at De Molen van West, it was the perfect start to a successful launch day.

The editorial, shot by Bas Van Est, was titled ‘Why We Run’ and features interviews with four creatives from different disciplines about the role running plays both in their practice and the way they move throughout the world. Through conversations with Bill Allison (Chef and Content Creator), Nurcan Tuzkapan (Founder of Studio3000 and New Gymnasium), Ollee Means (Furniture Designer) and Jared Wright (Ballet Soloist and Movement Director), we gained a thorough perspective of running’s impact on life in profession and leisure, across all walks of life.

Starting out our launch day with a celebration of this collaboration, we gathered our closest community for a morning session that focused on slowing down, reconnecting and reflecting. The session opened with some guided movement, followed by a breathing session, allowing us to explore presence, light movement, and recovery. After this warm-up, we continued into more intense physical activity, rewarded eventually with a recharging breakfast moment.
