CASIO INTRODUCED NEW G-SHOCK GST-B1000D WATCH

Casio introduces the latest addition to its G-STEEL line: the G-SHOCK GST-B1000D. A timepiece that rethinks utility through precision and proportion. The design draws on the original 1983 DW-5000C, refining its industrial codes into a streamlined, all-metal form.
The octagonal bezel and brick-pattern dial remain, subtle nods to G-SHOCK’s beginnings, while new finishes — a mix of straight and circular brushing with mirror polish — give the watch a modern touch. Red, blue, and yellow accents appear across the dial, each recalling one of the brand’s founding principles: challenge, water resistance, and shock resistance.
Powered by a newly developed compact module, the GST-B1000D combines Tough Solar charging and Bluetooth® Mobile Link for seamless connectivity through the Casio Watches app. The slimmer 11.6 mm case and reduced weight improve comfort without sacrificing structure. Carbon Core Guard engineering and bio-based resin components preserve the brand’s durability while lightening its impact, both physically and environmentally.
Available in black, blue, and green, the model moves between professional, casual, or outdoorsy. Its design language is pared back and precise, built for everyday use, but finished with the clarity of an object that’s been truly considered.
Four decades after redefining what a wristwatch could endure, G-SHOCK continues to evolve by subtraction. The GST-B1000D refines endurance into something spectacularly modern.
