CYBEX EXPANDS INTO FASHION WITH ITS FIRST APPAREL COLLECTION

CYBEX is entering the fashion space with the launch of its first apparel collection, marking a new direction for the brand beyond its established range of strollers, car seats, and parenting products. The debut 17-piece collection includes clothing for adults and children alongside a selection of accessories and will initially be available exclusively at CYBEX flagship stores worldwide, including the Amsterdam flagship store at Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat 136, followed by locations in Berlin, New York City, Paris, and Prague.

Drawing on fashion and streetwear references from Tokyo, New York, Milan, and Paris, the collection focuses on oversized silhouettes, neutral colour palettes, and premium fabrics. The designs prioritise comfort while adopting a contemporary aesthetic that aligns with the brand's broader lifestyle ambitions.

Rather than separating garments by age or gender, CYBEX positions the collection around shared wear. Hoodies, sweatshirts, and other pieces are intended to move between family members, adapting to different stages of life, including pregnancy, and remaining in circulation over time. This approach reflects the brand's emphasis on longevity and everyday functionality.

According to founder Martin Pos, the move into apparel builds on CYBEX's longstanding focus on design. "At its core, CYBEX is about family, and family is where culture begins", he said, describing fashion as an extension of the company's creative vision rather than a departure from it.

The collection also introduces a varsity-inspired "C" emblem, referencing the values of Culture, Community, and Connection, alongside the brand's slogan, "For All Tomorrow's People".

The apparel line will initially be available exclusively through the CYBEX retail network, including its SoHo flagship in New York and flagship stores in Berlin, Paris, Prague, and Amsterdam, signalling the company's continued expansion into the wider lifestyle market.
