‘DENDO-CHRONO-LOGY’ BY CAMILLE RAZAT TAZAR

Through a 1.5 minute video capsule, DENDRO-CHRONO-LOGY transforms a forest into an investigation scene, as it follows a woman in her attempt to solve an invisible anomaly: a year has vanished. Image, video, and fashion fuse to create a distinct narrative experience, built around the idea of dendrochronology, the practice of reading time through the rings of wood. Oscillating between forest and studio, the dimensions interact to the point of blurring, forming their own hybrid visual language where reality and its representation transgress into absurdism.
