DIOGO DUARTE EDITORIAL BY BRUNO VINHAS
As an observant person, I’ve always been interested in noticing small everyday moments. In this project, I explored how simple daily rituals — like eating gelato, having an aperitivo, grabbing a slice of pizza, or waiting for a train — can take on a different meaning when framed in Milan. I chose Milan because, to me, the city represents culture, tradition, and elegance. Here, the city itself becomes part of the narrative rather than just a backdrop.
Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2026 “Pijama Boys” collection helped reinforce this connection to Italian identity. I’ve always admired how Italian people seem effortlessly elegant, and the relaxed sophistication of the collection allowed me to explore the idea of transforming ordinary moments into cinematic scenes. Through this project, I aimed to create images that function like contemporary postcards — simple visuals that invite the viewer to experience Milan not only as a city, but as a cultural and visual experience shaped by the world of Dolce & Gabbana.
