HAVAIANAS X KIDSUPER: A COLLECTION BUILT ON FUTEBOL ARTE
words by DEBORAH DRENOFCI
Not a collaboration, but a celebration. Havaianas and KidSuper bring together the spirit of futebol arte: football played not just as sport, but as art, culture, and self-expression.

Launching globally on September 8, the collection brings four funky, colorful designs that stay loyal to Havaianas' signature silhouette while channeling KidSuper's chaotic, expressive artistry.
Colm Dillane, the founder and artist behind KidSuper, isn't just designing here, he's playing on familiar ground. A passionate football fan who once played the game in Brazil, Dillane brings real affection to the collection, for the culture, for football, and for Havaianas itself, a brand that's part of everyday life in Brazil.
The designs overlap both brands' identities in a genuinely harmonious way. The centerpiece is the Top Turf Pitch, flip-flops covered entirely in green velvet, recreating not just the look but the feel of a football pitch underfoot. Beyond that standout piece, three more styles carry Dillane's original artwork. Past the vibrant color palette, what stands out most is the sense of motion built into each design, movement and flow rendered in rubber and velvet.
The campaign was shot on a public football court in São Paulo. The court is transformed by Dillane's artwork, no longer just a pitch, but a canvas too.
Futebol arte was never just a way to play the game. It's a way of moving through the world, and now, a way of wearing it too.
