LES DEUX PRE-FALL 2026 TURNS COASTAL LIVING INTO A WARDROBE

words by ANOUK WOUDT

Copenhagen-based brand Les Deux takes a trip down south for its Pre-Autumn 2026 collection — as many people tend to do when the temperatures start to rise — introducing a wardrobe that feels like an endless Mediterranean summer. Merging preppy and streetwear styles, the pieces feel very true to the Les Deux aesthetic, solely with an addition of pops of swimwear and light linens or knits. It’s fresh, laid-back, and effortlessly stylish: essentially embodying the holy trinity of a summer wardrobe.

Familiar pieces that have come to define the brand identity make reappearances, reworked and refashioned to acclimate to the increasingly hot temperatures that somehow have even made their way up to us in Northern Europe. From jacquard football jerseys to cardigan-cut lace cricket knits, camp collar shirts, and even swim shorts, every article is perfected for a day spent alternating between the harbour and the beach. Influences of resortwear, workwear and sportswear meet at a healthy medium, giving way to unique layers of texture, style and material.

Cliffside views and sparkling waters serve as the backdrop for the campaign, naturally taking place on the Mediterranean coast. Semi-candids capture the ease of a beachside vacation, showing models gleaming in the sun’s golden rays with salt-coated hair and sun-kissed skin. The clothing waves gently in the sea breeze, each adding to the casual energy of a vacation whose end isn’t close to in sight. Sandy tones and neutrals dominate the colour palette, while washed-out greens, pinks and blues bring joyous summer energy.

As Creative Director, Mathias H. Jensen puts it: “It’s young and fresh, but not lads on tour. Nostalgic and romantic, but not a couple’s getaway. That balance sits at the heart of the season.”
