NUDE PROJECT’S LATEST COLLECTION CALLS FOR A CHANGE OF PACE
words by PHOEBE GIBSON-DOUGALL
The idea for Gardening Club, Nude Project’s first fall-winter collection, germinated from the seeds of a small yet meaningful idea: the key to fulfilment lies in simplicity.

Two core references informed this concept: César Manrique, who mastered the balance between pleasure and respect for nature, and Netflix’s Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones, where an elderly woman is shown watering her plants every morning as part of her daily ritual. When paired with Manrique’s philosophy of living, the gentle rhythm of this woman’s routine serves as the perfect metaphor for this new collection and the message that it hopes to convey.
Inspired by these natural muses, Nude Project’s latest drop invites us to join a different kind of club, one that encourages us to pause, take care of ourselves, and reconnect in a hyper-accelerated world. To mirror this, the collection’s motto is uncomplicated, “Your head is your garden. Treat it well,”. Where tending to a garden demands time and patience, so does taking care of yourself, a process that requires reengaging with the essential and giving space to the important things in life.
Of the collection, Bruno Casanovas, Nude Project co-founder and creative director, says:
“With Gardening Club we didn’t just want to talk about clothes. The campaign was born as an invitation to slow down, to take a breath, and to return to what truly matters. In a world obsessed with speed, dopamine, and ostentation, our idea is simple: do less, but do it better. Plant something, take care of it, and watch it grow”.
One can clearly see these sentiments reflected in Gardening Club’s pieces, with no shortage of relaxed silhouettes and comfortable fabrics available in earthy colours and organic greens. Keeping with the natural rhythms that inspired it, the collection calmly ushers in autumn with outerwear, including a refreshed iteration of its signature puffers.
From its creative references to its clothes, Gardening Club shows that when one takes the time to slow down, something beautiful can grow.
