PRADA GALLERIA: AN INVITATION TO THE ESSENCE AND HISTORY OF PRADA

Prada has found a way to let us step inside its past. Not the archive version. The lived one — the ideas, the collaborations, the restless exploring through cinema, art, culture, sport. The Prada Galleria project holds all of it across eight floors, an expansive world folded into Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, in the heart of Milan.

Eight floors, and none of them just about the clothes. Retail sits beside hospitality, art beside history, each one folding into the next. The two wings of the arcade now meet again below ground. This is also, still, the original home of Fratelli Prada, the same address the house has occupied since 1913, now asked to hold a hundred more years of accumulation.

On the piano nobile, the Pradasphere exhibition lays out the house's story from 1913 to now. But the history doesn't stay behind glass. It spills into the rest of the building. The expanded Prada Donna and Uomo boutiques sit within reach. Marchesi 1824 for amazing coffee. The Osservatorio for a full immersion into visual art. And two new floors, open by invitation only, hold everything else — private shopping, private hospitality, the version of Prada reserved for whoever gets through the door.

Prada Galleria isn't a store. It isn't a museum either. It's the space between them, and it exists nowhere else.
