Special Request has officially launched, marking the debut of Ahmed Tohamy’s new project presented alongside an exhibition in Berlin. The release introduces the brand’s first collection, grounded in strong materials, sharp construction, and a focus on process.

The lineup highlights Tohamy’s interest in contrasts: structured leather, crisp linen, and a patchworked hide produced in Egypt that has become a signature of the brand’s early identity. Silhouettes stay close to the body, with clean lines and a slightly industrial edge that reflects the designer’s background in both art and fashion.

Speaking on the launch, Tohamy said: “I crave people who nerd out on things and take the time to learn and absorb what they do.” It’s a fitting summary to the collection, which is small but built very intentionally with a level of attention that rewards a closer look.
