Defined by movement and performance, Teyana Taylor becomes the centrepiece of Alaïa’s collection, ‘The Essence of a Silhouette’. Unapologetically expressing the liberated woman, Taylor brings an athletic and bold energy to Alaïa through the summer fall 2026 campaign that celebrates the House’s ongoing relationship with the female silhouette.

By following the spirit of Grace Jones and Tina Turner, Taylor embodies a renewed vision of freedom and performance, through black and white portraits captured by David Sims. Remaining true to the House’s distinctive aesthetic, the campaign is framed to express Alaïa’s signature silhouette and the sculptural nature that defines it.

The collection’s craftsmanship is inspired by the curves, form, and lines of the body, that gets transformed into second-skin knitted dresses, a cut-out jersey, and mini dress. These are designs that reflect Taylor’s sporty, bold, and confident vision — an energy that feels natural to her.

Strong, sensual, bold and confident, the collection perfectly channels this energy through movements and silhouettes captured in the campaign.
