THE BEST-DRESSED STARS FROM THE VANITY FAIR OSCAR PARTY 2026

editor RAZ MARTINEZ

The Vanity Fair Oscar Party moved this year. From Beverly Hills to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and with that came a different feeling. A new address. A new energy. And the fashion matched all of it.

Schiaparelli set the tone for me. A black bodice flowing into a gold fringed skirt. It was complete. Harris Reed answered with architecture. A sculptural corset, straps rising above the shoulders, a silhouette that belonged in a museum. Given where we were, that felt right.

The floor-length gowns carried the evening. Navy silk that moved with authority. A white dress that needed nothing added. A silver gown that held the light. Each one a decision, not an accident. Then the sheer dresses. A black one worn as a second act, swapped in after the ceremony with full intention. A lavender one with lace detailing, delicate but assured. Both said the same thing differently. The after-party is where the real dressing happens.

Vintage Valentino arrived and the room felt it. Some references do not need updating. A maximalist look closed the night, committed entirely and without hesitation. That energy has always belonged here. LACMA changed something about this year. Fashion surrounded by art asks more of itself. The looks delivered. Every one of them.

Ahead, see the best dressed at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
