We’ll next be seeing you in NUREMBERG, which explores a critical moment in history. What can you share about your role in this upcoming film and what it meant to you personally?
I've been thinking about NUREMBERG a lot. It's another film that asks us to reckon with questions that are as relevant now as they were then. What does justice look like? What does silence cost? My character's forced to navigate the aftermath of an unimaginable atrocity. And that role became a meditation for me on this accountability and complicity, so I guess personally, it was impossible not to reflect on our own time and how history continues to test us. To be a part of a story that insists that we confront these questions, it felt urgent, it felt almost necessary.
The character I play, Douglas Kelly, is a psychiatrist, but he has all these human traits that make him so effective in his work because he's quick witted and he's funny, and he can be very charming as well. And that can be very disarming. When you're going up against a roster of patients that include the entire Nazi high command, that can be a very useful skill. I was taken aback by how much charm this character could have in a film of this gravity.

Cartier has a long history of timeless elegance and craftsmanship. What initially drew you to partner with Cartier, and how does the brand align with your personal style or values?
What drew me to Cartier is their reverence for both heritage and innovation. They have this extraordinary ability to craft objects that feel timeless, but they're never stagnant. So, for me personally, style is about substance, about choosing pieces that mean something, that carry history, and that endure beyond a season. And Cartier embodies that. Their work has a sense of permanence, a very unique quiet strength, and a refinement that resonates deeply with me. The care, attention, their spirit, and their real appreciation for what they do is something that I find creatively inspiring.
This issue’s theme is FANTASY. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of fantasy?
I'm trying to continuously learn and evolve. A fantasy for me is risk or risque. And I think willing to have an extraordinary adventure in pursuit of something meaningful.
