AUDIO OBSCURA ORGANIZES HIGHWAY RAVE ON THE A10
words by NATALIE GAL
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, Amsterdam will witness something truly extraordinary: a full-scale electronic music rave on the A10 highway. As part of the city’s grand 750th anniversary celebration, Audio Obscura will transform a section of the A10, near RAI Metro Station, into a massive, open-air dance floor for one day only.
Renowned for hosting groundbreaking shows in unconventional venues, such as the Rijksmuseum’s bicycle tunnel, Audio Obscura is known for pushing the boundaries of what a party can be. Now, they’re taking over Amsterdam’s ring road for an event that’s ambitious, and undoubtedly historic.
The "Highway Rave" will be a free, ticketed event and part of Festival op de Ring, a 17-kilometre celebration along the A10 that will be closed to cars for the day. Expect nine hours of nonstop music from a curated lineup of electronic artists. This once-in-a-lifetime rave is made possible by a collaboration with CUPRA, the high-performance car brand supporting music culture through its CUPRA Music platform.
Tickets will be available for free starting Wednesday, May 21, at 10 AM via the official platform.
