Church’s, a name synonymous with quality footwear, that has been adorning gentlemen since 1873, embodying the essence of British culture and timeless elegance. With an ability to adapt to evolving times and societal needs, the brand now unveils its new Autumn-Winter 2025 campaign, "A Day in the Life," featuring brand ambassador Theo James. James, a true personification of traditional British masculinity.
I was personally overjoyed to discover the campaign was shot in my beloved corner of the English countryside: The Cotswolds. This enchanting region in the heart of Southwest England is, to me, quite possibly the most exquisitely beautiful place, not just in England, but anywhere. When one conjures an image of quintessential Englishness, The Cotswolds immediately comes to mind, much like Church's itself. The two possess a perfect, symbolic balance.
As James himself articulates, “I had a great time filming in the Cotswolds for this campaign. Pulling inspiration from Church’s true English heritage while showcasing the dexterity and craftsmanship of each shoe’s design.”
The campaign spotlights iconic pieces such as their rugged Poulton hiking boots, the refined leather Shannon derbies, the classic Edworth boots, and sophisticated Hertford loafers. Viewers can see these exquisite pieces in action as Theo James roams through the grand halls of a stately manor, the smoky of a billiard room, and the buzzing gardens.
